We got an unprecedented e-mail inquiry over the weekend from the proprietors of ARMCO Models 56 in Sydney, Australia. Models 56 specializes in small runs, usually 500 copies, of Oz-prototype models. Many of them are Aussie saloon racers, including a wildly modified Corvair once driven by the storied Frank Gardner.

They’re now asking you folks in the Hemmings Nation whether you like their idea for a truck project. It’s a Ford F-500 of around 1960, the very first truck operated by New South Wales construction and supply magnate Lindsay Fox, finished in the signature Linfox red and yellow. Like most Models 56 creations, it would be 1/43rd scale, and priced at an estimated $120, with proceeds going to charity. Let them know if they can count on us Yanks. Go to www.models56.com.au.
