I rolled past this twice on the way to the Gilmore Museum in Michigan before I had a chance to grab the photo. This is a 1973 International 1110 Travelall, definitely a long way from a daily sight anymore. I don’t know enough about these things to tell you whether the stick-on graphics came from the factory, but this big Binder was credibly billed as a 97,000 mile original. Note the cap on the right-front fender, which designates the dual fuel tank option.
The Orange Demon’s loose here. Not good, but this is a Michigan vehicle, after all, and the local International specialist had kept it running this long. Asking price was $4,500 OBO.
Pretty nice interior, all stock. Bet you didn’t know that you could gussy up one of these with button-tufted velour. Neither did I. For people like me, there was …
… this. Maybe the guy was a Jon Runyan (born in Flint, alum of Michigan) fan.
