Spend more time with Dad at the 2011 National Hot Rod Reunion

If you’re already planning out next year’s road trips and want to hit the 2011 National Hot Rod Reunion, you might want to double-check the dates you’ve circled on the calendar.

At the conclusion of this year’s NHRR in Bowling Green, Kentucky, last month, the NHRA announced that it’s shifting the dates for the 2011 event to the Thursday through Saturday of Father’s Day weekend (that would be June 16-18, 2011). Previously, the NHRA conducted the Hot Rod Reunion from the Friday through Sunday of Father’s Day weekend, but the reunion organizers wanted to shift the event away from Father’s Day itself and provide night racing on Friday night.

Tickets for the ninth annual 2011 National Hot Rod Reunion go on sale December 16.
