It’s been several weeks since we’ve seen an American brand represented in the Hemmings Six Degrees of Automotive Separation Challenge, so let’s head straight back to Detroit, where “The Most Beautiful Car in America,” the Paige (or, if you prefer the company’s original name, Paige-Detroit), was built.

In a brief scan of the company’s history, I see there’s several connections that could be made directly off of Paige via the people behind the company, but there are also plenty of potential connections that could be made without them, so for this week’s challenge, let’s make sure not to use any people connections and instead focus on connections consisting of one company owning another, merging with another or sharing another’s parts.

This week’s challenge will be of the fox-and-hound type, in which the first person to leave a comment suggests another automotive company to connect to Paige in six degrees or less. Whoever can answer that then gets to suggest another company to connect to Paige, and so forth.
