Six Degrees of Automotive Separation – Fiat

Written by webmin

I promised you plenty more Fiat 500 pictures from the Chrysler media archives, so let’s use one for this week’s Hemmings Six Degrees of Automotive Separation Challenge. Of course, Fiat is a giant multi-national company with connections all over the globe and, possibly, to every car company that ever existed, so how is Fiat a good choice for this week’s challenge?

Well, think of it like our Ford challenge from many moons ago. The challenge is not necessarily to link the companies together, it’s to find a company that cannot be linked to Fiat. Thus, this week’s challenge will be of the fox-and-hound type, where the first person to respond gets to suggest an automobile company to link to Fiat. Whoever successfully answers that suggestion gets to suggest another company, and so on and so forth. As always, a connection consists of one company owning another, merging with another or sharing another’s parts. This week only, we’re not going to frown on connections made using factories or personnel as well.

No limits this week, so let’s see how creative you can be in both your suggestions and your answers.
