There once was a time and place when many of the great cars we now consider big-C Classics sat around on side streets and behind garages, when trios of Cords sat on used car lots, available for a song, or maybe a second shot at fame. Yet as Terry Boyce tells the story of his search for Classics in SIA #96, December 1986, we see that the time and place he sought has been reduced to a story, maybe true, maybe an illusion, but certainly out of his reach, a common thread to stories about Los Angeles.
