It’s one thing for somebody with a passing interest in old cars to go around snap-happy on the streets of a particular city, save the photos in a shoebox for 40 years, then trot them out. It’s another thing when Fred Roe aimed his camera on the more significant cars on the streets of Boston at a pitch-perfect time to see such cars, then shared his photography in SIA #67, February 1982. A variety of Cadillacs, Franklins, Packards and even an oddity or three caught Roe’s eye.
