Happy Fourth of July, everybody! On this most American of holidays, why not feature a vehicle that is typically American – big engine, big car, big luxury, automatic transmission, droptop – something to use to cruise from one end of the country to the other and back. Fortunately, in SIA #72, December 1982, Arch Brown gave us a nice writeup of the 1959 Chrysler 300-E, with its big fins, big Fifties style, and big 413-cu.in. V-8.
