Canadian cars tend to receive little serious consideration by American classic car writers. For example, to the best of my knowledge, Arch Brown’s article on the 1952 Meteor in SIA #74, April 1983, is the first on a Canadian-specific vehicle in the magazine’s run, 13 years after the magazine started. Fortunately, he gets straight to the heart of the matter and runs down exactly why Ford of Canada offered the Meteor and what differentiated it from its American cousins.
