In terms of the collectible automobile hobby, the east coast of Florida is about to jump to life once again, beginning this weekend with the 5th annual Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance. Held on the grounds of the Boca Raton Resort and Club in Boca Raton (nestled between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale) on February 25-27, this year’s event celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500.
According to Rick Case, Founder of the Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance:
The Indianapolis 500 and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway are American icons. And in true Concours fashion, we are thrilled to honor such a tremendous milestone in the car-enthusiast realm. Guests can expect to see numerous Indianapolis-inspired additions to this year’s Concours, including special awards in honor of and appearances by some of the most revered Indianapolis participants. The combination of the Boca Raton Concours’ 5th Anniversary and the Centennial Era celebration of the Indianapolis 500 is sure to make this one of the most memorable years in Concours history.
