Seen In Scottsdale: Volkswagen Type 2

Written by webmin

The ever charming, always utilitarian Volkswagen Type 2 Transporter, built in Single and Double Cab guises, will be one of the many stars at the January auctions at the numerous auction houses next week. Here are a few of the Type 2s you’ll find in Scottsdale, Arizona:

This restored 1956 Single Cab, lot number 9414 at Russo and Steele, features a new canvas tilt canopy, and will cross the block and sell with no reserve in the evening of Friday, January 21.

Meanwhile, Barrett-Jackson will be offering this rarely-seen, fully restored 1962 Double Cab as lot number 417.2 on Wednesday, January 19.

As well as this restored, mechanically modified 1962 Single Cab, lot number 389, also on Wednesday.

Stay tuned for upcoming coverage of these auctions and more in Hemmings Motor News, Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car and Hemmings Muscle Machines.
