Since its release to the public in 1964, the Mustang has become the subject of more than one modification, whether it was supported by the folks in Ford’s front office or performed by the enthusiast who knew there was more performance potential under the unit-body skin. Pro Touring, while not new, is certainly one of the most notable outlets Mustang and Mercury Cougar owners subject their steeds to.

To help facilitate the installation of wider wheels and tires, Grave Robbers Sheet Metal – in collaboration with Goodmark – now offers 18-gauge steel rear wheel mini tubs that provide up to 12.50 of wheel housing width for 1964-’70 Ford Mustangs and 14 inches of width for 1967-’70 Mercury Cougars.

Used in conjunction with a factory suspension arrangement, the tubs allow for the use of nine-inch wheels on 1964-’66 Mustangs and 10-inchers on Mustang/Cougar from 1967-’70. Suspension upgrades allow for the tubs’ maximum design of 10.50/12-inch wheels respectively. Listed as part numbers 3020/670/64WL and 3020/670/64WR, the tubs cost $299.90 per set.
