Both McCourt and LaChance submitted a few videos for this week’s foray into the world of music videos with old cars in them. First, above, LaChance’s suggestion of the 1960 Buick that appeared in the Go-Go’s’s’s’s video for “Our Lips Are Sealed.” I’d embed the video here, but EMI doesn’t want it embedded, so you’ll have to click through.
Next, McCourt pointed out the BMW 1600 cabriolet that appeared in Katy Perry’s video for “Teenage Dream.” According to a commenter at Hollywood Status, the BMW belongs to Carl Nelson from La Jolla Independent. I’d embed the video here, but I don’t want to expose myself to any more of this dreck just for the sake of a cool car.
Finally, McCourt also pointed out this video for a (pre-wardrobe malfunction) Janet Jackson song, “You Want This.” I’m guessing McCourt pointed it out for the dusty Austin-Healey, Karmann Ghia and 356 the girls are driving, but I wanna know more about that Cadillac station wagon. Unfortunately, it only appears for a couple seconds, and that’s not worth sitting through this video any longer than I have to.
