I was going to save this for the pages of Lost and Found in Hemmings Classic Car, but I know it’ll be just as well appreciated here, during Motorhome Mania week. Wally Hirsch sent me these photos, taken by the mother of a woman who works for him. She said they were taken in 1976 at Watkins Glen State Park, but she wasn’t able to get any story to go with them. Wally writes:

I see parts of possibly 2 Buicks, perhaps the rear of a Ford wagon and a pickup cap. Also note the 2 sets of steering wheels and 2 sets of rear wheels. I wonder if anyone has ever seen this monstrosity before and if it still exists.

As homely as it is, it does appear somewhat thought-out, with efforts to make it all appear unified. And I’d love to see what had to be done to the chassis on it.
