Back in the Eighties and Nineties, Choo-Choo Customs ads were all over the enthusiast magazines, so somebody must have been buying their customized F-bodies, G-body El Caminos and pickups, but they’re just not that common nowadays, either on the road or in the Hemmings classifieds, which is why we took notice when three Choo-Choo Customs cars came through in the last week. First, the 1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula Bandit II, which brought the spread-eagle glory of the screaming chicken to the third-gen ‘Bird. From the seller’s description:
Many of these conversions were lower Firebird models, so this one is even more rare. #21 of 500 produced in 1989. New decals, paint freshened up, working air conditioning, needs stereo, new window sweeps, full power accessories, t-tops with original GM bags. Original 5.0 liter engine and auto transmission. Great driver for the money.

Next, a Choo-Choo that many more people will immediately recognize: a 1986 Chevrolet El Camino SS in black and gray two-tone. From the seller’s description:
