Hemmings Find of the Day – 1993 Jaguar XJ220

Written by webmin

I wouldn’t say that selecting a Jaguar XJ220 to grace the cover of a recent issue of Hemmings Sports And Exotic Car was controversial, but it sure did generate quite a bit of opinion on whether it deserved that spot. Whatever your opinion of them, you can’t deny that they’re striking, and this 1993 XJ220 doesn’t fail to strike. From the seller’s description:

a beautiful exotic car running on a 3.5 Liter Twin Turbo V6 engine, capable of 475lb-ft@4500rpm / 542bhp@7000rpm. The Jaguar XJ220 is able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in only3.4 s and reaches a top speed of 212.3 mph. This cool exotic car uses a 5-Speed Manual transmission and weights 3025 lbs. This is an excellent example of this car. Well maintained by Muncie Imports. Both Cat converters have been replaced. The engine pulls for full service including 2 new water pumps. Runs like new. No accidents. Interior in excellent condition. The is one of the few XJ220 left in this country. Demand in Europe has lead to many being exported.
