Two years ago, you couldn’t bring up the topic of third-generation Camaros without somebody inevitably dropping a mullet into the conversation. Nowadays, we’re seeing clean, well-kept, original third-gens – such as this 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z for sale on Hemmings.com – starting to come out of the woodwork and being taken seriously as collector cars. That’s a rather abrupt change in perception, and I’m betting that the release of the new fifth-generation Camaro is helping third-gens and even fourth-gens in their climb back to respectability. From the seller’s description:

Preferred Equipment group number 3 1SD. Very fun to drive and only driven in good weather.
