Bitters are definitely few and far between here in the United States, and if you do see one here, it’ll likely be the SC rather than the sleeker CD, but here we have a 1978 Bitter CD for sale on Hemmings.com, looking rather well preserved from the photos. From the seller’s description:
1978 Bitter CD, his is a beautiful handmade car built in germany with a corvette motor and transmission making mechanical repairs simple and inexpensive. Body parts are available, expensive but thats why we have insurance. The car has a new windshield, new front bushings so it drives tight. There are only three in the U.S. and Canada out of the 395 built and mine is #355. It is very comfortable for long drives and gets 16 miles per gallon on the high way.
