Yup, it’s a bog-standard 1977 Cadillac Eldorado that we picked for today’s Hemmings Find of the Day. It hasn’t been turned into a pickup or a station wagon, and it appears to still have its stock 180hp 425-cu.in. V-8 and drivetrain. So what’s the big deal about it? From the seller’s description:
1977 CADILLAC ELDORADO CLASSIC IS OWNED BY A 102 YEAR OLD LADY — NO JOKE! Car has been garaged in California since original purchase and meticulously maintained ever since. We just spent over $1,000 for new brakes, new front axles and seals, new battery, smog certificate and new carburetor. Runs like new (only 80K miles), and gets incredible gas mileage (over 20 MPG on trips)! Interior is a little worn but NO dents or dings; only needs rear cosmetic bumper fillers (about $400). Has all the original Caddy bells and whistles, including power windows and seats, AC, etc. This car is known for going 250,000 miles without any engine repairs and is a great car for Caddy enthusiasts, collectors, or someone who just wants reliable day-to-day transportation! This is a California car, truly owned by “a little old lady from Pasadena” (actually Capistrano Beach, CA). One of the Beach Boys actually rode in this car with her, back in the ’70s!
