Now that NASCAR’s 2011 season has officially started, we decided to comb through the Hemmings.com classifieds for something NASCAR related, and came upon this 1969 Dodge Charger 500. We actually see another Charger 500 and two Daytonas on the site now, as well, but this one’s rather unusual in that it’s no six-figure Hemi four-speed car, rather an almost sedate 440 auto SE car that still carries some aero history. From the seller’s description:

Only 13 Charger 500 SE’s were built. 440 NOM with matching number automatic transmission, 8 3/4 differential with 2.76 gears, B5 Blue paint with white tail stripe, Blue interior, power steering, power drum brakes, AM radio, fender tag, buildsheet, Creative Industries paperwork, Galen’s Registry is pending. Older rotisserie restoration. Runs and drives but needs motor work. Has some rust bubbles around lower back glass and passenger rocker panel. Small dent in right front fender.  Quarter panels and trunk floor have been replaced.
