One of the niftier aspects of the new online classified search function that we introduced this week on Hemmings.com is that it allows you to search for a car based on all sorts of criteria. What decade is it from? Does it have a stick or an automatic transmission? What price range does it fall into? What sort of shape is it in? That last criteria in particular gives you the ability to search just for project cars such as this 1965 Austin-Healey BJ8 that didn’t get far into its restoration. From the seller’s description:
Restoration project completely disassembled. Front & rear shrouds in very good condition. Fenders are good other than rust in lower sections. Main frame is good, outriggers, sills, etc. are rusted. Drivetrain complete with O/D transmission. Engine ran, no carbs. No interior, dash, instruments or top. Good Title. The car and parts need to be picked up with a pickup truck & trailer.
