Hemmings Find of the Day – 1964 Volkswagen

Written by webmin

Anybody who’s trawled the Internet for modified Volkswagen photos has by now seen the Beetle limousine type, made by merging two Volkswagens end-to-end. But a Herbie Beetle limousine, like this 1964 Beetle? Next I want to see a Herbie Baja Bug, then maybe a Heb stretched out like this. Are you listening, Internet? From the seller’s description:

One of a kind Herbie limo! two VW’s were put together to form this very unique stretched limo VW Herbie. Suicide rear doors open up to a luxurious red velour interior complete with bar and TV. There is a divider window to separate the driver from the passengers. The drivers compartment was also upholstered in a crushed red velour. Pearlescent white paint adds to the glitz of this eye catcher.
