While I’ve always been partial to the later non-bugeye versions of the Sprite, this red and restored 1960 Austin-Healey Sprite, with its drilled steelies, poverty caps and tonneau, is still rather fetching. We all know gas is going to climb back up toward a bazillion dollars a gallon, so perhaps now is the time to get into a smaller collector car? From the seller’s description:
Completely rebuilt frame-up reassembly with new parts 2005.
Driven regularly since. No rust, new paint and well maintained.
1275 engine with alternator. Soft top in good condition included.
Additional fan in front of radiator for additional cooling when driving on hot summer days.
