We normally don’t select street rods for the Hemmings Find of the Day because we know that they don’t fit with many of our readers’ tastes, but here’s a thought to keep you awake at night: Are contemporary street rods the modern-day version of the coachbuilt automobile? Chip Foose himself has mentioned the connection in past interviews, and it’s hard not to draw similarities when looking over this Foose-built 1935 Ford street rod for sale on Hemmings.com.
