We do know that in 1925 Ford offered a grain truck body for its ton truck, but the cab on this 1925 Ford Model TT grain truck seemed unusual, so we contacted James Wagner, Ford truck historian, for his expert opinion. He said he believes both cab and body are aftermarket, which isn’t all that unusual for Ford trucks of that period. Nor does that fact detract from the overall presentation of the truck. From the seller’s description:
1925 Ford Grain Body Model TT Grain Truck, one of 90 made, that has been in the family since purchased new. Always in running condition and fully restored in 1996. I have pictures of the restoration work as well as pictures from the days of it use on the farm in Minnesota.
