If I had a business renting out vehicles to movie studios, I could probably make a mint off of a car like this 1924 Flint touring – it’s exactly the kind of typical 1920s car that seems to populate every movie from that era. Throw in a few weddings every summer and I bet I could make the purchase price back in no time. From the seller’s description:
1924 Flint Touring, This car was purchased in 1963 by my dad. We have good title and Virginia antique tag. The model is E-55, body style is touring, body number is N-4639, engine number is 6E-8391. This Flint was manufactured in Long Island City, New York. A total restoration was completed in 1981. I have a vast amount of information copied from the Detroit Public Library and Iam a member of the Durant Motors Automobile Club. The Flint was built to compete with the Buick and sold for twelve hundred dollars in 1924.
