For a while now, Hemmings Nation Flickr pool member gswetsky has been uploading photos of the 1965 Detroit Old Car Festival, which looked to have been an excellent event, attended by multitudes of brass and veteran-era cars. We bet if he would have taken a few photos of the parking lot, we’d be poring over them today as well. Perhaps the most astounding car to jump out of that series of photos, however, is this 1907 Fiat four-cylinder chain-drive racer, in all of its blood-red glory. Can you imagine the sound from those stovepipes?
Of course, the question is: Where is this car today? And does it still attend old car events like it did 45 years ago?
