Four-Links – RIP Bill Tritt, traffic signals galore, Martians on Vespas, Pontiac Phantom

Written by webmin

* News came to us through our friend Geoff Hacker that fiberglass pioneer Bill Tritt died last week at age 93.

* After this week’s post on the Iowa Highway System, circa 1960, we came across Caution Optional, Ed T.’s blog on traffic signals and the enthusiasts who collect them.

* Martians on Vespas? Will somebody who can read French explain what’s going on here?

* Over at Curbside Classic, Paul’s got a brief post about the Pontiac Phantom, Bill Mitchell’s parting shot before his 1977 retirement from GM.

* Finally, Atomic Antiques has a few pics of some nutcases winter enthusiasts who built contraptions for motoring about on frozen lakes.
