The seventh-annual Fairfield County Concours d’Elegance, held at The Fairpoint Country Hunt Club in tony Westport, Connecticut, will take place next Saturday and Sunday, September 11-12. Porsche leads an impressive group of sponsors, which also includes the event’s auction house, Bonhams, and The Club at Lime Rock Park.
Saturday’s activities include the Nutmeg Tour for Autism, a 50-car driving tour designed to raise money for The Drive To Treat Autism Fund, as well as a Car & Motorcycle Club Celebration, a preview for the Bonhams auction and a number of seminars. Sunday will be the Concours itself, and the Bonhams auction, Art & Automobilia display and Town Green children and family activities will also be taking place.
The 2010 Fairfield County Concours’s featured judging classes are Porsche, Bugatti, Aston Martin and Preservation Vehicles.
