Car show and ’50s celebration set for movie premiere

Written by webmin

We’ve been following the progress of Faith Granger’s hot rod film, “Deuce of Spades,” for a couple years now, and after four years of filming and production, Faith’s ready to premiere the film later this month amid a hot rod show and Fifties celebration.

The film follows a girl who finds a mysterious letter in her hot rod that leads her to trace her car’s history and become immersed in 1950s hot rod culture. Appropriately, the premiere of the film, scheduled for November 14 in Fillmore, California (where much of the film was shot), will feature a pre-1960 hot rod show, guests dressed in 1950s attire, a lindy hop dance, live music from several bands featured on the film’s soundtrack, and an art show featuring the work of hot rod painter Tom Fritz.

More information about the event, as well as tickets for the screening – limited to 600 total – are available at the Deuce of Spades website.
