Springtime comes along and we start to feel cooped up here in the office in Vermont. Cars aren’t yet out and about, cruise-ins haven’t yet started, but we did at least get a chance yesterday to take in the New York International Auto Show. While the new car displays from the manufacturers seemed rather thin this year, there were still plenty of classic and collector cars to ogle, including an SS100 to help celebrate Jaguar’s 75th anniversary celebrations, several TV and movie cars from Michael Dezer’s North Miami-based Dezer Collection Museum, and the now-customary showcase of cars from the LeMay Museum’s Bulgari Collection. The lone 1957 Chevrolet done up as a U.S. Army MP unit would’ve been great for our March Military Campaign and seems to have been part of some display honoring West Point.
