For the final letter of our Automotive Alphabet, I grabbed this shot of a standalone Z earlier this year at the New York International Auto Show. So, yes, it’s a new car, but it’s at least inspired by a collector car (and, yes, I’ve pretty much given away the identity of the car by now, but I’ll still force you to guess, for old time’s sake). I know there are plenty of other standalone Zs out there, so let’s see them!

If you’d like to see the entire Automotive Alphabet, as collected by the staff of Hemmings Motor News and by our excellent reader-slash-contributors, we’ve been tagging the series all along at this link. Feel free to go back and add any standalone letters we might have missed. This whole venture is just begging for some enterprising graphic designer with plenty of free time on his hands to create a font out of the letters we’ve amassed.

So where should we go after this? Greek letters? Cyrillic letters? Kanji/hanzi? Aurebesh?

UPDATE: Hugo90’s following along over on the Hemmings Nation Flickr Pool and has contributed a Czech Z.
