While Mecum Auctions was in full go-mode at their big event in Kansas City on March 11-12, they have been spending time organizing and accepting consignments for their 24th Annual Indy Spring Classic on May 17-22 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

Mecum officials recently announced that a collection of 16 cars and 14 vintage motorcycles will be offered at Indy from the estate of well-known and respected collector Paul Dehnert, including a rare 1973 Triumph X-75 750cc Triple Hurricane. Perhaps best known in the Corvette community, Paul’s 1969 Corvette L88 will also be offered, which touts Bloomington Gold certification, as well as his twin-turbo Lingenfelter ZR1. In addition to Pontiacs, Chevelles, Impalas, Ducati, Harley-Davidson and Norton Commandos, his 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona will also cross the block, each without a reserve.
