The AACA Museum, located on Route 39 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, will honor veterans and active military service members by offering those individuals free admission on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11. Among the vehicles on display will be a 1942 Ford GPW Military Jeep, as well as a 1944 Military Airborne Cushman Model 53. The Cushman – part of the Two-Wheeled Treasures from the Dennis Carpenter Collection – was just one of the many that were airdropped by parachute, or carried by glider; they were often used as messenger vehicles during World War II.
