What’s more fun than one Road Runner? A whole flock of them cruising down a sun-baked desert highway, of course. All that’s missing from this image is a hapless coyote being run off the road by Hemi power.
Automotive artist Michael Irvine is known for his prowess at capturing high-performance rides in watercolor, and his latest effort, Beep Beep, is no exception. Unlike his other work, though, this one is deliciously tongue-in-cheek. Don’t believe me? Click on over to Irvine’s site and take a close look in the background – those Plymouths are tearing up the pavement like our old Warner Bros friend always did, piling up the asphalt behind them as they rip through Monument Valley. There’s a few other little treats scattered around the painting for you to discover, too.
Beep Beep is available as a limited-edition print (only 800 produced); an artist’s proof with remarque (20 made); a gallery canvas (50 made); or a gallery canvas with remarque (five made). To mark the release of this dynamic new painting, Irvine is offering special introductory pricing through April 3, so don’t hesitate – zip on over today and add this clever painting to your auto cart collection.
