Springtime comes hard, fast and gloriously to Colorado. People with all kinds of cars want them out in the glow of the mountains. For six years, the Gateway Canyons retreat has been hosting an annual Auto Fest for American-built cars; this year’s date is May 7.
This year’s Auto Fest will present Best of Class awards in 23 categories, including a people’s choice. It’s a charitable event aimed at raising funds for at-risk youth in Mesa County, Colorado. Gateway Canyons is about an hour southwest of Grand Junction along Colorado’s western slope.
