Former curator of DFW Elite Toy Museum doing hard time after Batmobile scandal
July 2010 – Huntsville, TX – Two years after the biggest Batman scandal in history, the former curator of the DFW Elite Toy Museum remains reflective about what he’s learned.
“I just didn’t have a good feeling about going public,” confesses Rodney Ross, speaking publicly for the first time since the scandal broke. “I knew something like this was going to happen, but Ron was like, ‘What do you think they’ll do? Send you to jail?!’”
Talking candidly from the 4-by-8-foot cell he shares with “Tiny,” his state-issued domestic partner for the next four to seven years, Ross says he is wiser from his experiences.
“Don’t mess with Batman’s peeps,” he says. “Those people are crazy. And they will come and get you…”
