The same seller of this 1971 BMW 2800CS has at least a couple of other project cars for sale, including an Austin-Healey and an MG Midget, but it’s the BMW that caught our eye. It’s no 3.0CS, of course, but it is still a rather rare car, one of 349 2800s built that year, and one allegedly once owned by Jackie Cooper. From the seller’s description:
Mileage uncertain, very complete car with low amount of typical rust. Auto, AC, PW and PB. Brand new, never installed PAECO 260hp SRE engine in storage with extensive extra head work, including headers, oil cooler and billet pulley. Receipt for engine over $6,500. Extras include 3.0 disc swing arms, 528 fuel injection.
