Like vanners, real T-bucket enthusiasts have kept the flame lit for their niche of the hot rodding world since the heady days of Grabowski. Unlike custom and sport vans from the Seventies, it seems T-buckets haven’t yet been considered for a revival in popularity among the hipsters, which means that now is the time to be ironic about T-buckets before everybody else rediscovers them. And if you’re ready to start trailbreaking into T-bucket territory, there’s probably no better place to start than with this 1923 Model T for sale on Hemmings.com. From the seller’s description:

Celeberty built and owned. Just recently found & taken out of lengthy storage is this circa1970′s show car. Unrestored and found just the way it was built back in the day. This T-bucket was built and shown back in the 70′s. It has Metal flake paint with multi colored candy flames. The interior is pearl white vinyl with Blue metalflake inserts…Very Cool!!! This T-bucket was featured in magazines, shown at large events and was,(and still is!) a real crowd pleaser. Small block chevy 327 with cross ram 4 barrel intake and carbs, 3-speed munci m-13 manual transmission ford 9″ rear & lots of Chrome and detail throughout. Runs & sounds Excellent.
