Okay, Hemmings Blog True Believers: If you were consigning this 1970 Hemi ‘Cuda Convertible to Russo and Steele for their 11th Annual Scottsdale Auction, January 19-23, how high would you set the reserve?
The car is reportedly authentic, making it one of 14 1970 Hemi ‘Cuda Convertibles built and one of only nine with a factory automatic transmission. It’s restored but has reportedly only been driven 19,000 miles from new, with power steering, power front disc brakes, power windows, and the Rallye gauge package. Popular pricing guides are no help, the closest thing I can find to a value is $1 million – $1.39 million from a book published in early 2008. And, uh, you know how valid those prices are today.
So if this was yours, how much would you expect to get for it at Scottsdale in 2011?
