While bidding on the 1969 Charger Hemi R/T four-speed we mentioned here last week stalled out at $115,000, resulting in a no sale during Mecum‘s St Charles auction, September 16-19, the 1969 GTO Judge convertible we previewed and a 1969 Boss 429 Mustang each broke the $200,000 mark.
The Judge and the Boss tied as the top sales of the event, each hauling in $220,000. The next highest earner was a 1958 Impala convertible with a 280hp 348 that sold for $102,000.
