It’s time we dig a little deeper into our automotive advertising past, to the days when a European war had not yet hit our shores. I was only able to dig up a few ads from the 1939 model year, but what I find interesting about them is the fact that the Nash ad is in brilliant color, while the rest of the group is in good old-fashioned black and white. Even more interesting was the practice of including an MSRP.
