Sure, most of the big show car debuts take place at the Detroit auto show these days, but the New York auto show is no slouch, especially with 110 years of history behind it. In SIA #75, June 1983, Audrey M. Snediker reviewed that history and showed us some of the more unique and eye-catching cars that have graced the New York auto show.

Quick note: Longtime HCC readers will recall the photographs of the 1940 Packard at the New York auto show that we ran in Lost and Found, HCC #3. From the article, we see that those photos were taken in an attempt to win that Packard. Always nice to put some context with some old pictures.
