Just as the major auto manufacturers had concept cars, so did those various companies such as Hurst that specialized in working with the manufacturers to create low-volume specialty cars. Two of the lesser-known Hurst concepts were the Swinging Bee and Merada, based respectively on the Dart Swinger and the Charger R/T and presented to Dodge in March of 1969.
