This colorful stuffed animal is Mungo the Monkey from Steiff Toys. This toy dates back to the early 60’s and sits on its four furry legs at just over a foot tall. He is made in Germany and his German name is Buntaffe Mungo. Mungo has bright blue eyes with realistic looking fur with bright colors surrounding his face, back, tail and hands. He has a very long tail that makes him a full 25” inches when fully stretched out from tail to nose. His fur is extra soft because it is made with real mohair. He is a great addition to DFW Elite Toy Museum and will fit in perfectly with the other rare antique toys and other collectibles. Mungo has been generously donated to us by Vanna Bonta and will be proudly displayed in our toy museum.
