Mercedes Race Car Model 165 R/C

This is a very large scale radio controlled model 165 Mercedes Benz race car and is one of about six known to exist. This car was made in the mid 1980s by Jerry Mrlik a retired engineer for General Motors. He and Ron Phillips started the production of high end, hand built radio controlled cars. After speding roughly $1.5 million in tools and other materials, for health reasons, the company went bankrupt.
