Hemmings Find of the Day – 1980 Ford Fiesta

Written by webmin

Like the 1983 Toyota Starlet we featured the other day, we wouldn’t expect to see too many 1980 Ford Fiestas like this one for sale on Hemmings.com on the road nowadays. Unlike the Starlet, this Fiesta didn’t benefit from any race history to keep it around, just the California climate and a sympathetic owner who wanted to preserve it. From the seller’s description:

1980 Ford Fiesta, “S” version, has light body and 1600 cc Kent engine, so it is very quick and has good handling with good mileage. Has 110,000 miles, good condition, has been in storage most of its life. Engine is fresh and runs, but needs brakes and battery. There were very few “S” versions when this car was new, and this might be the only one of its type in the States right now. Excellent for restoration or conversion to electric. Many spares.
