In case you haven’t noticed, I get a little weak in the knees whenever I see a 1960s GM truck product come through the Hemmings.com classifieds, and this 1964 GMC 1502 (the seller claims 1500, but that appears to be the designation for two-wheel-drive 3/4-tons in 1964) is no exception. The fact that it’s a four-wheel-drive, perched on chunky blackwalls with period hubcaps, gets me all flustered. Somebody buy this truck before I’m tempted to raid the savings account! From the seller’s description:

Original 305V6 engine has sparkplug wires dated 1963. Oil bath breather, cartridge oil filter, radio delete, 4spd on floor shifts SM420 transmission. GVW 8000lbs with 8 lug axles, split rims with Firestone tires, as well as modern wheels and radial tires. Axles with 4:56 gears. Original front fenders and fire dept radiator.
