Hemmings Find of the Day – 1924 Ford

Written by webmin

T-bucket? No. Dragster? No, not one of those either. If anything, this creation, listed as a 1924 Ford, reminds me a bit of Al Bergler’s More Aggravation competition coupe, but even then, there’s a world of difference between the two. Whether you dig it or not, props to whoever followed through on his dream by building this from scratch. From the seller’s description:

This is not a kit car. It was hand fabricated from the ground up and is an original unique design. It is street legal, titled, insured and can be driven day or night. It is all hand formed metal and designed for fun! Engine- Cadillac 472, Transmission – GM Turbo 400, Rear Axle GM 10-Bolt 3.55. Wheels, Cragar Dragstars, Tires 1.35×15 and 33×19.5, Front Disc Brakes, Dual Battery Mounts, Custom Tunnel Ram Intake, Bucket Seats, Carpet & Vinyl Interior with Wood Trim, Fully Instrumented, Tail and Lift Gate, Retrractable Headlights, Alden Coil Over Shocks,Hidden Light Swithches, Dual Edelbrock Carbs, All build documentation available.
