Ford GT owners flock every summer to Long Island for a two-day gathering to discuss their favorite automotive passion, the Ford GT supercar. Owners from as far away as Texas drove up in their exotic American sports cars just to take part in this year’s fourth annual event, which was hosted by Ford GT owner Joey Limongelli, and held on the lawn of his home in Huntington, New York. One original Ford GT40, owned by Holman-Moody, was there as well. In fact, Lee Holman came up from North Carolina to give a tech session about the cars. Noted author and former Ford SVT employee, John Clor, was also there and was signing his new book, The Mustang Dynasty. All told, some 23 Ford GTs were on hand, including the original prototype with its all-Kevlar body and one bare shell.
